CUSTOMER RELATIONS MANAGER

Runwood Homes is one of the UK’s largest residential elderly care providers recently placed in the top 20 care home groups in the uk. The Group operates 76 homes in England and Northern Ireland under three brands, Runwood Senior Living, Sanders Senior Living and Kathryn Homes (Northern Ireland only).
Historically a local authority focused estate, our ambition is to transition towards a stronger private pay mix, developing our current estate and adding new homes to help achieve this.
We currently have an opportunity to join our Sales & Marketing team as a Customer Relations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving their allocated homes private occupancy. Your base site may change from time to time based on occupancy demands, this will remain in the same geographical region as your base site.
Your role will include the following:
- Overall responsibility for the sale of self-funding beds to ensure occupancy targets are achieved within the home
- To ensure the experience of self-funding clients and their families is of the highest quality and seamless move-ins are achieved on date
- To work with the marketing team and ensure a key marketing strategy is devised and implemented based on the individual service and geography
- To create community engagement within the home through local schools, businesses, charities and other organisations
- To promote Carehome.co.uk and Google reviews within the home, to maintain the profiles and to contact families and friends directly to encourage reviews
- To lead on key regular marketing events within the home and promote this on social and local media
- To ensure all associated administration duties are carried out effectively and in a timely manner
- To record and account for all petty cash expenditure
- The role will include some travel
