Activity and Wellbeing Lead

Hourly rate - £11.08 per hour         

Hours per week – 25-35 hours per week, including some weekends.    

Could you be the next enthusiastic team-player to join us in our wonderful home?  Your main role will be to plan and deliver meaningful, person-centred activity and occupation to all our residents.  You will also guide, develop and coach our staff in engagement and activity with residents, so that every day is filled with magic moments.  We believe it is everyone’s role to help our residents live well, and enjoy life.  You will ensure residents’ dignity and self-esteem is enhanced through meaningful engagement, positive relationships and free expression of individuality.

So that you have the confidence and skills to deliver high quality activity and engagement to residents, you will receive individual support, guidance and investment in your development. 

Applicants must have a positive forward-thinking approach, have the ability to enthuse and guide others, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.   Care home experience is an advantage, as is any previous experience of providing activity or leading others.  You will also need be assertive, yet flexible.  We find that successful candidates come from a wide variety of backgrounds.  For more details of other homes’ locations please see
