You will be an experienced CIPD qualified or part qualified HR Advisor used to working across a large multi-sited, service-driven and highly regulated organisation, preferably within the health care sector.
Working at our Head Office you will be responsible for supporting and advising our Care Home Managers across mainland UK and Northern Ireland, on all staff management matters within a defined region.
You will have proven HR experience and good planning and organisational skills, be confident and collaborative in your approach and have the skills necessary to engage and enable the delivery of the overall HR service.
RESPONSIBILITY
- Be the first point of contact in the provision of the HR service for all managers and staff within a defined portfolio of homes
- To effectively deliver a high level of customer service and support by providing first line Human Resources advice and support to Managers and Homes.
- To work proactively as part of the HR team, assisting and supporting the development of company-wide HR strategy, and policy and practice.
- To assist and support with the HR team with all HR administration
- To provide support and advice to Managers on absence management issues.
KEY ACCOUNTABLES:
- To provide support, coaching and advice to Managers on employee relations issues such as disciplinary, grievance and capability, ensuring advice is consistent and based on current Company policy and procedures.
- Advise on and support consultation and implementation processes for organisational change and reconfiguration of services within the home advising on the HR implications and making recommendation on possible ways forward.
- Support the HR Manager and Head of HR in the development of HR policy and practice, developing new company-wide guidance, policies and procedures and supporting managers in their application.
- Support the design and delivery of HR related supervisory/people management training and development programmes for managers and staff within the company as required
